FAQ
Who owns the copyright to my images?
While I retain the copyright of the images, the contract gives personal print permissions to our clients, for any non-commercial usage. Please let me know if your printing lab requests a print release I will be more than happy to provide it for you.
Do you retouch all the portraits?
All photos that you see in your reveal will be retouched to address blemishes, deep lines, etc…. (unless you request otherwise). So yes, they are retouched, but will still look like you.
Do you require a deposit to hold my session date?
Yes. Once you're ready to book your date, I'll send over a client agreement form and your session fee of 30% will be due at that time.
When and how will I get to see my finished pictures?
It generally takes me about 3-4 weeks to retouch and prepare your images for viewing. Once they're ready, I'll be in touch with a link to a gallery for you to see your pictures and download your portrait collection.
I’m not photogenic and I’m super awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
First of all, there is no such thing as unphotogenic! There are bad poses, unflattering angles, and tense faces. I can and will help with all of that and more. I will guide you through the posing of every shot we take, so there won’t be any moments of “what should i do with my hands/legs/face!?”
What printing labs do you recommend?
Professional photo labs deliver a more professional product than most drugstore or box store, these stores simply don’t produce the same quality of prints that a professional photo lab will.
